As a therapist with a multi-cultural background, I have a deep understanding for people from all walks of life. Having professional experience on 3 continents (Europe, South America and the United States) and fluency in two languages has enriched my life immensely. These experiences have also shown me how to overcome loneliness and isolation. They’ve instilled in me a deep passion and commitment to the “soul” of my clients, helping them to un-lock their pain and suffering to feel free and happy to be themselves.
Having worked with people who have suffered from trauma and a variety of addictions (i.e. alcohol, drugs, gambling, food, relationship or sex addiction) for over 20 years, I have a vast amount of experience and utilize advanced therapy techniques that will help you resolve feelings of low self-worth, depression, anxiety and symptoms of trauma — all symptoms that underlie addictions.
I am giving and empathic with my clients, and know when to gently guide them towards changing their behaviors and helping them unlock the places where they are stuck. My focus is to help my clients open their minds to release their suffering and find a more fulfilling way of being in their lives.

Over 20 Years of Counseling Experience
I’ve worked in a variety of community and hospital settings with diverse populations. I’ve held leadership positions and have been involved in developing several programs. Some of the populations I’ve helped include gay, lesbian, and transgendered people as well those with substance abuse, mental health and weight problems. I’ve also had great success with those struggling to adapt to a new culture.
