order to be one of the few AAHA accredited hospitals in
Connecticut, they had to pass a voluntary inspection in over 900

Brookfield Animal Hospital has a spacious, clean, state-of-the-art facility newly constructed in 2008. Each boarding dog has 2 spacious dog runs with hi-tech sanitation and ventilation systems. Outdoor playtime for dogs is also available. Pet boarding cats have their own “feline friendly” room with cat condos.
Our
Doctors
Dr. Michael Dattner received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1994. Dr. Dattner has a special interest in surgery and dermatology. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Dattner co-owns the hospital with his wife, Dr. Silke Bogart.
Dr. Silke Bogart also graduated from Cornell University in 1992. Dr. Bogart’s special interests include ultrasound and internal medicine. Dr. Bogart is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. She is also the hospital’s USDA accredited veterinarian.
Dr. Lori Wilfling attended the Royal Veterinary College in London, England receiving her veterinary degree in 2004. She has a special interest in ophthalmology. Dr. Wilfing is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Wilfling joined the practice in 2007.
